Mix following in a large bowl with a whisk:

2 Liters of boiling water (tip: if using clean, filtered water can take less than half boiling to make a warm mixture - don't have to wait 'till cools down)

1 teaspoon Baking Soda

2 teaspoons Sea salt (can also use table salt)

6 teaspoons Kool-Aid (with sugar) (In Europe: Hipp or Milupa Instant "Fruechte-Tee" Granulats)

cover with plastic wrap and leave out for instant use (refrigerated holds up to 3 days)

recipe for 1 liter water(1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. salt, 3 tsp. Kool-Aid (Fruechte-Tee)

Here is a great recipe if your child is sick, especially with a stomach flu. Pedialyte is very expensive and maybe not always at hand... ...here is an easy recipe which can be made anytime and anywhere. It prevents your baby or child from getting dehydrated, and a bottle 200ml (1/4 liter) hand warm can be given (without food) every 3 to 4 hours. The symptoms should improve within 24 hours and then smaller portions of food (cheerios, dry crackers or cookies, bread with butter) can be tried again as little snacks. If the symptoms don't improve after 1-2 days or the child has a high fever a doctor should be consulted.
